In the last years there has been an increase in obesity that has caused great consequences both to public health and also to the lifestyle of people. On one positive hand we can find that in the cities the number of gymnasiums has increased and Sunday has been given as a fixed day to make it easier for people to go jogging and cycling marathons. But on the other hand more negative, in the cities there are also a lot of junk food stores, and there is not much awareness about the negative consequences or effects that this kind of food causes on the body. All these arguments point to the main idea of this work in which "Obesity is a harmful phenomenon that affects our health taking us away years of our life and happy moments to live.
In a first moment, we can find that the increase of the obesity caused a warming signal to install gyms, given that according to the world health organization, 85% of children are already in the category of overweight, which has caused parents the impulse to do something with their own health, since it´s transmitted later in their children. Is for this reason that to encourage the family exercise has been recognized on Sunday as a day to exercise as a family, privileging the exits to hill, cycling marathons, and entertaining dance or "zumba" in public places
As second place, on one negative hand, we can analyze that the increase number of junk food store has caused people to have these places as the first option since they are the closest, and at the same time they are the fastest to serve, related this with the strong tendency of people to eat fast since they have to return later to fulfill their responsibilities in urban areas.
Therefore, if we take all these things into consideration, we should have more awareness about the thesis of this work, obesity can cause great changes in our lives, and most are negative. Therefore, if we take more advantage of the opportunities that exist in the cities (gyms, outings to the hill) and avoid junk food places learning healthier ways of eating, we will not only have a better health but we will also reach the old age have a happier and more enjoyable lifestyle together with our families.
